Salou - Priorat Route

Salou, as the center of the Costa Daurada, is the perfect place to travel to the Priorat region. This road cycling route starts with a trip to the Sierra de Prades, a great mountain attraction for its wonderful views. A stage of recognition by the Sierra with not particularly hard ports.

You will leave Salou towards Reus. Once past this town, always heading up towards Borges del Camp, you will find the first pass, the Coll de Alforja (12 km relatively smooth with an average percentage of 3.14%).

Then, you will have a favorable stretch of descent towards Poboleda, Escala-Dei and Torroja del Priorat to reach Porrera, where you will start the second and last pass of the day, reaching 516 meters above sea level that will take you to Riudecols where the stretch will be favorable until the return to Salou. In total, 1,400 meters of elevation gain in a quiet stage of 95 km.
